Christmaaaaasss!

Mostly posting what I got, since my Christmas was very hectic. Between my dad having to have surgery, the kitchen being flooded, and me even becoming sick myself, December has kind of been a mess. Luckily, my dad was able to come home from the hospital for the holidays. He'll have to go back soon though. But that's okay. The sooner he gets everything over there finished, the sooner he'll be feeling better!

One Christmas Eve, my family gives gifts. We give gifts for extended family on Christmas Day, so here's what I got:

Ponies!
Video games and Steamboat Willie vinyl figures!

Floyd Gotterson Mickey comics (complete with history and info by David Gerstein and Warren Spector, who both keep showing up every time I look at/look up/buy something Disney related. Hmmm.), the Powerpuff Girls Complete Series, and Lady GaGa headphones!

And boooooookkkkssssss. From the left to right, we have "Too Funny For Words" by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnson, all about gags and humour from Disney. A book on Ub Iwerks written by Leslie Iwerks. Finally, "Walt in Wonderland"; a book all about Alice, Oswald, and Mickey. C:

Also got this cool Mickey charm bracelet. It's called "Mickey Through The Years". The theme should be pretty obvious.

That was my gifts from Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, Oswald popped up on my planner to dictate my life

Went to my grandparents for the day. Mostly played Guitar Hero with my cousins and drew. One of the things I did think was cool was that we had oplatki, a Polish Christmas wafer you break up into pieces to share with your family on Christmas, in honor of my dad getting well (he's Polish, if you did not know)
As for gifts, my grandmother surprised me with THIS! Yeeaaaaaah!!!!

At the D23 Expo, I didn't want to shell out the money to pre-order the set. Big mistake. These dolls literally sold out in minutes upon release. Mulan's my favourite of the dolls and Disney girls, so I am soooo happy to have her! I thanked my grandmother numerous times! Other gifts were fun little trinkets and clothes. I got some vinylmations from my cousin that he got at a business conference Disney was attending, along with a custom i-phone case from him.

And that's it.
I did get some goodies throughout December, but not really Christmas gifts.
One of them being this dude:
He's a special edition D23 plush for the 20th Anniversary of the Disney Store. I also got Minnie, but the store messed up and didn't ship her. :/
She should be in soon though, after I contacted them about it.

I think my favourite thing about this Mickey is how he matches my black and white 2007 Oswald plush
Right down to the ability to stand on their own!

In the same package as Mickey, there was a new Oswald hat and shirt from the Disney Store. I think Oswald himself approves.

Other than that, nothing much. I've been feeling very lonely and almost depressed lately (I think from what's going on with my dad). In an effort to sort of rejuvenate myself, I converted my computer desk into a drawing table. It's the one in the background on all of these, but here it is in it's almost finished glory!
I can not believe how many Mickey items I have.

You may notice the Epic Mickey figures, and how it's missing the Oswald ones. That's because I left him behind on my collector's shelf (which is all Oswald stuff, since he's my character I'm into collecting)
As you can see here, he's absolutely devastated by the move. He'll have to spend time on that shelf, just him and Uncle Walt. No Mickey. The horror.

His leaps of joy are only there to hide his tears.

Anyway, I've blabbered on enough. :I
Goodbye, and I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
