Warm Bodies

Soooooo.... this book.
I... liked it?

Which completely blows my mind. Because I do not like romances. I do not like anything to do with zombie apocalypse stuff (my brother got me to play Left 4 Dead once and that was a big deal for me). So therefore I've come to the conclusion that Isaac Marion is really a wizard of some kind. :P

The romance is actually my favourite part. Because 1. it's not your typical stupid fluffy stuff like you see in other romances. 2. The book never ever ever ever ever glosses over or glorifies that R is a zombie. I like that he's a real, legit zombie. Not some deep mysterious hot guy who is called a zombie. He's a dirty, awkward, shuffling and groaning zombie who eats people and it's awesome.

I also like the "zombie culture". I like that they do stuff (albeit not much) other than just standing around, waiting for some person to show up so they can be shot at.

So naturally, since I'm an artist, I had to draw some fanart.
A legit picture which took effort:
Not too happy with the "living side". Plus I feel like the "dead" side lost some details (like the head wound where Julie stabbed him. It's there, but with the hair and dark shading, it's very hard to see. :X). All in all, it looked better in my head.

Also made this which is just a doodle to practice line art:

... yeah. Obviously R was my favourite character.

Alright. Nothing else to say. :B
